On August 12, 2024, the second Xiushui "Champion Cultural Tourism Week" and the fourth "August Literary Festival" opened in Xiushui Village, Chaodong Town. Wang Xiquan, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of Publicity Department, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech, and Wang Weiping, deputy county governor, attended the opening ceremony.

The event kicked off with a dragon and lion dance.​ Subsequently, the Champion cultural parade and "intangible culture" boutique artistic performances were staged one by one, attracting many students, parents and tourists to watch and feel the cultural charm of the "Champion Village".

Xiushui Village in Chaodong Town is a famous historical and cultural village in China, with a history of more than 1,300 years ago. It has a profound cultural heritage and a flourishing wind of worship and education, and is called "Champion Village". This year, a total of 20 students from Xiushui Village were admitted to college.

It is understood that the Xiushui "Champion cultural Tourism Week" lasted from August 12 to 18, during which there will also be Shiyu ancient street punch card, champion cultural and creative products, Xiushui featured products exhibition, Yao Xiushui Champion Food Workshop long table banquet and other boutique activities launched to further promote the Xiushui Champion culture and promote the in-depth integration of cultural and tourism development.
